We invite you to join us for the Google in Education Kuala Lumpur Summit produced by the EdTechTeam, to be held at the International School of Kuala Lumpur Ampang Campus on  November 23 & 24, 2013 . This high intensity two day event focuses on deploying, integrating, and using Google Apps for Education and other Google Tools to promote student learning in K-12 and higher education. The program features Google Certified Teachers, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainers, practicing administrators, solution providers, Google engineers, and representatives from the Google education teams.

Holly Fairbrother has taught in the UK, Qatar, Malaysia and Singapore. She first came to Qatar in 2007 and returned in 2014, where she was Head of Media at Dukhan English School. She is currently the MYP Coordinator and Head of Language and Literature at ACS Doha International School.

She has taught English Language Arts, Literature, and Media for seventeen years, and taught with technology and GSuite for Education since 2011. She is passionate about exploring how the use of technology can enhance the educational experience of all her learners. She is also a huge advocate of educators sharing their learning and experiences. She co-founded and moderated #satchatoc and #satchatME, weekly Twitter chats for educators.

She is a Google for Education Certified Trainer, as well as a qualified Flat Classroom, Flipped Classroom, PBL, Digital Citizenship, and Apple Teacher. As a confessed learning junkie, she is in the process of studying towards a Masters in Education and Integrating Technology in K-12 classrooms with UMUC in the USA, and is currently looking into andragogy and the implications learning theory has on the motivation of adult learners.
